Ringing in the New Year

The hope and promise of a New year brings with it so many expectations.
We hope that they don't get in the way of what we hope is a good year.
I find that the expectations one has interferes with the good that can come from a situation. though, one can argue that without some expectation nothing will be obtained.

Flip the coin on this I say.
